SOLUTION: Go to Settings > Apps > McLaren > Defaults and toggle the Open supported links off and on and also select all in Supported web addresses... Can't process the registration, can't open the link in app
Live comments keep disappearing. Useless.
Good app with lots of information, but it needs a comment option and definitely a thumbs down because I can't "hype" a DNF result.
It felt nice to be more intimately involved in the inner machinations, strategy and all round McLaren moments. Much more convenient than sitting through YouTube or Twitter for latest developments
Cannot get my new Google pixel 6pro phone to link my profile with the app. No matter how I try to follow the instructions it just doesn't work.

Have a similar issue getting my new phone registered (Samsung A52S). Got the mail but the link dies not work, in that it does not provide the "Open in" choice, hence failing regustration.
App installs on Pixel 5 but registration process fails. Had same problem in December and sent email to McLaren but no response.
One of my favorite apps. If you are a McLaren F1 fan this is app is a must have
